POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF FIRST-TIME VOTERS IN THE 2024 GENERAL ELECTION IN LUBUK BATU TINGGAL VILLAGE, LUBUK BATU JAYA SUB-DISTRICT

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the forms of political participation of novice voters in the 2024 elections in Lubuk Batu Tinggal Village, Lubuk Batu Jaya Subdistrict and to find out the factors that influence the political participation of novice voters in Lubuk Batu Tinggal Village, Lubuk Batu Jaya Subdistrict in the 2024 elections. This research is qualitative research with the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, and interviews. The result of this research is that the Simultaneous Election will again become a new color in Indonesia, especially for Beginner Voters, which is certainly the first experience in channeling voting rights, to determine who the Presidential Candidate and Regional to Central Legislative Members are their choices.
